Yoga Nidra – Relaxation and Beyond

Living Peace Yoga 2/20 The Boulevarde, Toronto, New South Wales, Australia

"Yoga Nidra" is a technique often used in yoga classes to induce deep body-mind relaxation. However, this practice provides so much more than just relaxation. Its ultimate goal is to increase self-awareness, to eliminate old habitual patterns and potentially, experiencing states of higher consciousness.

In this workshop, we will spend time practising the techniques that uncover this deep relaxation and the state of ease in mind and body. We will study the philosophy behind Yoga Nidra and we will explore the sub-conscious mind that Yoga Nidra unveils.

Emotional Evolution

Living Peace Yoga 2/20 The Boulevarde, Toronto, New South Wales, Australia

The path from being an emotional wreck to being an emotional master is one worth walking. Emotional mastery shifts us from a seemingly ceaseless roller coaster of up and downs to a blissful boat ride down the river of life. The emotionally skilled person is able to monitor, control and leverage their emotions for optimum clarity of mind and ease of heart.

Restorative Yoga – The Art of Rest

Living Peace Yoga 2/20 The Boulevarde, Toronto, New South Wales, Australia

Restorative yoga is a slow and mindful practice, which usually involves the use of props such as bolsters, blocks, blankets, straps and walls, to aid the student in holding a pose for an extended period of time. Using props allows the student to feel “supported” and “safe”, and therefore, the unconscious and habitual muscle tension has a chance to be dissolved and released. This practice leads the yogi towards a more healing and recuperative experience, achieving a deep level of relaxation in body, breath and mind.

Be You Now

They are quietly confident, self-assured, and not governed by family, culture or the past. They are also undeterred by error and are swift to admit and overcome incorrect behaviour and attitude. The self-esteemer is a true delight to be around, full of ease and grace, peace and power, present moment awareness and deep compassion.

In this workshop we will decipher some of the unreal from the real and give methods to establish new behaviours cultivating self-esteem and self-love.
