Self-care is defined by the term itself – caring for yourself. It can take many forms but essentially includes all you do to stay healthy from a physical, mental and spiritual perspective. Often self-care is sacrificed when life becomes busy and stressful as it can seem indulgent. Caring for yourself is not self-indulgent, it is self-preservation.

Healthy digestion is essential for maintaining clarity of mind, vibrant energy levels and balance in all systems of the body. Research is beginning to prove how effective yogic techniques are in reducing stress in the body, calming the parasympathetic nervous system, and thereby encouraging the "rest, repair and digest" processes.
